A
Gathering of Community
THE VISION
When I
first learned Reiki, I felt drawn to
connect with other practitioners in the Salt Lake area. I also
felt that a Reiki Circle would be an ideal opportunity to share
Reiki with the larger community, practitioners and non-practitioners
alike. I explored a few different Reiki shares, only to find that many were
open only to the students of the attending Reiki Master. While
attending gatherings, I noted within myself a growing desire to
stretch and discover the rich variety of applications and
experiences of Reiki.
Sacred Mountain now
offers a gathering for the entire community which encompasses each
of these dimensions! Many ideas are listed below. This
gathering offers a nurturing place in which respect is given to all
facets and traditions of Reiki. Practitioners are
encouraged to bring ideas as this gathering is co-created by all who
participate.
I hope to share Reiki
with all of you!

REIKI SHARE FOR PRACTITIONERS
Reiki's potential is limitless!
My wish is to provide a sacred space for practitioners to explore
with each other creative ways of applying Reiki. Once per month we gather to explore
possibilities such as:
Reiki in the
mountains
Treatments in natural bodies of water
Sharing Reiki in various religious centers
Videos of techniques and various aspects of Reiki
Working with the Reiki principles
Meditation and Reiki
Sharing of books about Reiki
The impact of nutrition
Guest presenters
Reiki combined with other techniques such as using sound,
crystals, movement, journaling
Retreats to share Reiki and nurture ourselves in other ways
Introducing and sharing Reiki with other adults, children,
families, animals, and others

REIKI FOR THE COMMUNITY
A
Healing Clinic dedicated to serving those who have not learned
Reiki will be offered periodically. Reiki practitioners of all
levels are invited to assist at these gatherings. This Clinic
is open to:
Adults
Children
Families
Animals
Those who are ill
Others in need of healing
Pregnant women
Those seeking rejuvenation
Anyone just curious about Reiki
Others who do not have the financial resources to pay for
private sessions
Anyone!

REIKI FOR
THE EARTH
Reiki
practitioners of all levels (I, II, and III/Master) are invited to
express each month passion for life by sharing the healing gifts
of Reiki with our beautiful planet! As a comm-Unity, we contribute to the creation of
a healthy, vibrant, thriving existence for all. This monthly gathering
features short films, songs, quotes, readings, artwork, discussion, and, of
course, distant Reiki to support awareness and healing of the Earth's ecosystems,
peoples, and animals.

ENERGY
EXCHANGE
An exchange of energy between
practitioner and recipient is an important teaching in Reiki.
The practitioner facilitates the Reiki session and the
recipient offers something in return. The recipient's offering is
frequently a sum of money, but can be one of many other forms of energy (trade of
services or items, etc.) which feels comfortable and fair to
both involved. This exchange keeps the recipient from feeling
indebted to the practitioner and helps prevent the practitioner from
becoming imbalanced, or "burned out," as he/she serves others.
This exchange also serves as a reminder that we are equals, fellow
travelers, and have the ability to heal ourselves while accepting support
from others along the way.
In honor of
this teaching, all who attend and participate in the Circles will
have an opportunity to provide a donation at each gathering.
