THE CENTER
Welcome to Sacred Mountain! I, Tracy L. Cash, started my career in typical Western fashion by
going to college and graduate school, and by working in various human
service positions along the way. As each year passed, I became
increasingly interested in complimentary and alternative approaches
to living and healing. I studied and implemented several lifestyle changes, such as a vegetarian diet with primarily organic
foods. I also explored alternative healing modalities, such as
body work, energy work, esoteric sciences, Reiki, homeopathy, and
acupuncture, just to name a few!
I have learned that I feel the most fulfilled when every area of my life
is aligned with the same beliefs and principles. As such, working
in conventional settings while living holistically began to feel incongruent
and required a change. The result is what you see here. I
created the Center with a passion for:

Making conscious choices about creating a joyful life
● Using complimentary and
alternative methods in the healing process
● Caring for the Earth and every
being on it by choosing sustainable alternatives and actions
It is my intention that
each aspect
of Sacred Mountain reflects these three principles.
Decisions utilize what is known about supporting
innate healing mechanisms, finding non-toxic alternatives, and supporting
locally owned businesses. For example, supplies and furniture currently used in the Center are made from
recycled materials, are environmentally friendly, or are purchased from a
locally owned business whenever possible. In July 2005, Sacred
Mountain was accepted into Salt Lake City's Environmentally and
Economically (e2) Sustainable Business program!

Additionally, the
counseling and educational
programs promote the same principles for use in daily life by:

Activating one’s innate
wisdom
● Offering
practical tools which can be applied immediately

Inspiring real and permanent change.
The future of the Center may include a free-standing building placed in a nature setting with the
building and grounds designed and
maintained in a manner consistent with the principles of sustainable
living. Holistic practitioners in
various disciplines will work as a team to support the desires and needs
of each individual. Classes and events will foster awareness and
offer tools for personal growth and healing, conscious relationships
with ourselves and others, holistic care and healing for the physical
body, and support for the Earth.
